Our Pastor
Henry McMullen
Pastor Henry McMullen is the Senior Pastor of St. John Missionary Baptist Church of Lexington, KY. With a unique teaching and preaching gift, relevant to today’s culture, Pastor McMullen makes the word of God easy for everyone to comprehend.
Pastor McMullen has been in ministry for 24 years. Along his ministry journey he has earned a BS in Pastoral Administration and Masters of Divinity, in Church Administration from Global Evangelical Christian College & Seminary of Birmingham, AL. He is also a published author of the book "It Hurts But It's Necessary: Standing Strong When God Seems Silent."
Pastor McMullen, alongside his wife Lady Joy McMullen have 4 sons, Julian Michael, Rayshawn Paul, Ryan Henry, Henry Preston Carter and 2 daughters, Jaiden Marie and Hailynn Carolee.
Our First Lady
Joy McMullen
Lady Joy McMullen is the first Lady of St. John Missionary Baptist Church. She is the Co- Founder of McMullen Ministries, Pretty Girls Preach and The Be Renewed Movement. Lady Joy served along side her husband Pastor Henry McMullen as the Assistant Pastor of New Birth Fellowship Church in Indianapolis, IN. Lady Joy is not only a mother, wife and minister, she is also an Entrepreneur, Mentor and Esthetician. She is the CEO of Studio Pro Cosmetics and Sweet As Joy LLC. Lady Joy professed her hope in Christ at the young age of 7 and accepted her call to the ministry at the age of 17.
Lady Joy is the mother of 6 Children; 2 daughters Jaiden Marie, Hailynn Carolee and 4 son's, Julian Michael, Rayshawn Paul, Ryan Henry and Henry Preston. Lady Joy preaches the gospel to evangelize the lost, to heal the broken, restore the hurting and release those who are captive; that they might be made free.
